First of all, forget the fact that Jimmy Kimmel is the new host of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire for a second! How is this show 20 years old??? WTF?
Am I REALLY that old? I remember this show like it was yesterday! I couldn’t have been 7 when it debuted in 2000! But alas, it is and the show is returning on Wed, April 8th, for it’s 20th anniversary!
But are we even checking for a new ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ show and do we care that Jimmy is the new host?
I mean, I’m not!
With the amount of things to watch on Netflix, Hulu and Disney Plus, plus all of the movies coming out this year, I have enough things on my plate. Ain’t no reason for me to turn the TV on and watch this!
Even if the new show will feature celebrities playing for charity. *shrugs*
But according to ABC,
“for the first time in the history of the U.S. franchise, celebrities playing on “Millionaire” can invite a guest in the hot seat to help them answer questions. It could be a relative, a beloved teacher or a famed trivia expert – anyone they want – to help them win as much money as they can for the charity of their choice. Additionally, this special run of shows will be introducing a revolutionary, live, play-along app which will allow America to compete to win the same amount of money that celebrities are playing for on the show. Celebrities confirmed to appear will be announced at a later date.”
And I’m here for being able to finally play along!! Lol
