Listen! I watched Teenage Bounty Hunters months ago when it first released on Netflix. So if you STILL haven’t watched Teenage Bounty Hunters yet, I’m gonna need you to get ya life together and watch this ish ASAP.
I still can’t believe how great this show was!
Here’s Why You Need To Watch Teenage Bounty Hunters On Netflix
First of all … I don’t think the original poster art did this show any justice!
If you’re like me and you judge things off of their cover art, you’re probably gonna miss out on this dope ass show. The original cover art just had these two white teens on it, who look anything but interesting!
And while yes the show is about the two girls, who have to get an after school job, and end up stumbling into bounty hunting. Kadeem Hardison and Method Man are really what did it for me! Yes THE Method Man!
When I first saw Kareem’s name on the cast list I immediately put this thang on my watch list! And then I got to episode 4 and saw Method Man pop up and I flipped! I absolutely love the banter between Kareem and Method Man! It’s super freaking cute.
They’re “sworn” enemies due to their jobs (one’s a bounty hunter, and one’s a cop) and apparently they BOTH dated their “boss”.
But as weird as that sounds, it’s complete magic every time they’re on screen together! They’re really the duo you wanna look for when watching this! And that’s literally all I should have to say to get you excited.
But if Method Man and Kadeem Hardison aren’t enough eye candy for you, Myles Evans is awesome AF too! (He plays one of the girls boyfriend.)
It’s nice to see a Black teen character who’s sure of himself, and doesn’t take shit from anyone, just because he likes them!
Oh, and the fact that he’s lowkey BALLIN’, instead of the stereotypical broke Black kid surrounded by uppity white folks, is another reason this series is worth watching!
So if you haven’t already seen Teenage Bounty Hunters yet, pick up ya laptop, ya tv remote, ya phone, whatever you need to turn Netflix on to watch this low key amazing dramedy and watch it right now!
And while you’re picking things up, pick up ya favorite drink to sip on because you’re gonna need it for that twist at the end!
Virginia Williams (who plays their mom Debbie) really steals the show in the last episode! That was literally one of the best twists I’ve ever seen! Y’all thought that wack ass “Knives Out” mystery was good? Watch this and tell me Virginia ain’t KILL her role! But don’t take my word for it, watch it and see for yourself.
Awww thank you!!! It's so good!!
