Illumination just dropped a new trailer this morning for The Secret Life Of Pets 2 and I’m ecstatic! It’s so freaking cute!!!
First of all, who ever chose “Walk it Out” by Unk is a GENUIS! It’s perfect! Lol (I really should look into music supervision and licensing, because I’m ALWAYS so damn excited about what songs folks put in these movies. Lol) But a song can really make or break a trailer!
Shoot y’all SAW the trailer for Us, how creepy was that damn song? But it totally ADDED to the vibe of the movie and that’s what EVERYONE was talking about later!

This is why I mentioned soundtracks in my Missing Link review! Music is important, especially for people like me! Lol
Also, I always LOVE the beginning of Illumination movies! These minions some how always fit right into EVERYTHING and I think Illumination REALLY does a great job of incorporating them into their title scenes. (Is that what they’re called? Lol *shrugs*)
However, not only was the music a great choice for this trailer, these new characters are going to be FUNNY! Did y’all see this monkey rag tag Snow Ball like it was nothing? OMG!

Just look at his face! Lol Speaking of NEW characters … um, so did Katie have a kid in The Secret Life Of Pets 2? Cause y’all there’s a baby running around and I can’t tell you if it’s hers or if she’s just babysitting. Lol I guess we’re gonna have to watch the movie when it comes out on June 7th to see? Lol
But the little kid IS cute! Lol And I love how they’ve touched on how protective animals can become of little kids! I don’t know about you, but I’m almost 30 and I STILL here stories about how when I was a baby, my uncle’s dog would sit at the edge of the bed while I was sleeping to make sure NO ONE bothered me! Lol
I don’t remember that of course, but how cute is that? And that’s exactly what The Secret Life Of Pets 2 will be portraying in this new movie, so I can’t freaking wait! Are y’all excited?
