When I watched The Kissing Booth movie on Netflix, I had absolutely no clue they’d be making a sequel! The Kissing Booth didn’t seem like it needed a sequel honestly.
But now that I’ve watched the trailer for The Kissing Booth 2, a sequel makes total sense and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
If I’m judging solely off of this trailer, The Kissing Booth 2 seems like it’s gonna be a great sequel. However, we’ve seen time and time again, the story about the girl who has to decide whether or not she should follow her original plans once she graduates college or if she should go after the guy she loves.
And although there’s also a best friend in the mix, along with a new hottie to distract poor Elle, I’m looking forward to seeing what else this sequel will bring to the table.
If anything, at least it’ll be another cute rom-com to watch this Summer to distract us from this Covid foolishness. *sigh*

Elle Evans (Joey King) just had the most romantic summer of her life with her reformed bad-boy boyfriend Noah Flynn (Jacob Elordi).
But now Noah is off to Harvard, and Elle heads back to high school for her senior year.
