Should Disney Build A Wakanda Theme Park? Whoopi Goldberg Thinks So!

wakanda theme park

With the passing of our King of Wakanda a few days ago, (RIP Chadwick), Whoopi Goldberg took to Twitter to ask Disney to create a new Wakanda theme park in his honor and honestly, I totally agree with her.

We NEED a Wakanda theme park!

But with the way folks showed they ass a few weeks ago when Disney announced that their Splash Mountain ride at BOTH Walt Disney World and Disneyland would be “rethemed” to celebrate Princess Tiana and their Princess and the Frog ride, will Disney even give a Wakanda theme park a second thought?

Honestly, I hope they do! They’d be attracting a whole new demographic!

Think of all the people who showed up and showed out when Black Panther came out! (And all the people who were ready to throw hands when they thought Beyonce might play Storm in Black Panther 2!)

Those same people will visit Disney just to get a TASTE of Wakanda!

Shit I know I’d definitely show up for that! Press days, regular days, all day every day! And there better be costumes for us to wear!

Do you hear me Disney!

Disney staff can be one tribe and everyone else can be apart of the other tribes!

Listen! This could be SO good for Disney!

Plus all the racists will be too disgusted to show up! (Well, one can only hope!)

Anywho, Whoopi mentioned on Twitter that “we don’t need another Frozen land” and she’s absolutely right.

Elsa we love you, but dang girl!

There are several “Frozen” attractions at Walt Disney World in Orlando, including “Frozen Ever After”, a chance to meet Anna and Elsa at Royal Summerhaus at Epcot, PLUS “A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Some events are listed as temporarily unavailable because of the pandemic right now, but they’re there!

So it would be great to get another attraction just for us!

Here’s what Whoopi had to say …

So what do you think? Should Disney build a Wakanda theme park?
