11 Questions I Have After Watching WandaVision Episode 1 And 2

Listen Linda, this new Marvel series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany), two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives, begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems. Episode 1 and 2 of Wandavision give me “Honeymooners” vibes, (yes that old a** black and white tv show you probably watched alongside “I Love Lucy” years ago as a kid, and you can read my full review of both episodes here. However, after watching episode 1 and 2 of WandaVision on Disney Plus I have questions!

So Here Are 11 Questions I Have After Watching WandaVision Episode 1 And 2

Note: There are spoilers below for those who haven’t already watched WandaVision episodes 1 and 2.

1. WTF is going on?

I know I’m not the only one asking this question right now! But damn! I seriously can’t wait for episode 3 and 4 to drop so I can figure out what’s happening. (I really have a weird feeling that it’ll take another 2 episodes for things to finally start falling into place.)

However, I do think Wanda is trapped in some sort of TV where they’re forcing her to live this weird simulated life. But as we know, I’m not hip to the MCU world so I could be wrong. We’ll just have to wait and see.

2. What does the helicopter mean?

The helicopter was the first thing to have color, and it had a symbol on it that the camera seemed to focus on for a bit, so clearly this ‘random toy’ means something! But WHAT?

3. Why red and what does the it stand for?

If you haven’t noticed, everything we got color of, right before everything regained its color at the end of episode 2 was red. The helicopter, and Dottie’s blood. So why was red the first color we saw and what does this mean?

4. Why does gum make Vision appear “drunk”?

I found it weird that the gum made his gears stick, but instead of not being able to work like a “normal” robot or machine, Vision was still able to move, he just seemed drunk? Why!? What’s up with that??

5. What the hell are their powers again?

Okay so with a name like Vision you’d think this man has like super vision, or he could see the future or something right? But instead so far I’ve seen super speed, super strength, the ability to float and the ability to pass through solid objects. Something tells me he has a few more powers we haven’t seen yet too, which is crazy because I don’t think I’ve seen a superhero with so many different powers.

Then there’s Wanda who basically has magic? (But instead of a wand she uses her hands?) She can basically move things without touching them, as well as make things appear or disappear? She can also move a specific time frame forward or rewind it? (The way her chicken went from not cooked, to burnt, to eggs, was ridiculous!)

And yet I still have no clue what their powers are and what they can really do? But hopefully they show us more in episodes 3 and 4.

6. Is Wanda gonna be fixing Vision’s problems throughout the entire season?

I really hope not! She did enough in episodes 1 and 2! And as we can see she clearly has problems of her own to figure out!

But like damn … why is the woman always saving the day nowadays? Just because we don’t want distressed princesses being saved by princes, doesn’t mean we want women fixing everything! (We meant we wanted to see a strong woman use her brain and save herself!

Not save herself and every damn man in her path! I need to see more strong men! I need to see men and women working together! Gah!) But whatever …

7. How is Wanda magically pregnant? And if she can rewind time why didn’t she rewind to before being pregnant?

We saw her rewind, so why didn’t she rewind to life when she wasn’t pregnant? Does she have a limit of some sort? Or does she just want kids so she was willing to accept being pregnant? Did she just want to fit in?

What the hell is it! And how the hell did she magically become pregnant? I mean, I know they turned the lights off and sh*t, but like … did she fast forward time by accident? She’s a few months pregnant!

8. They’re finally getting color?

Does that mean Wanda is breaking through? Or waking up from whatever dream she’s having? It’s clearly some sort of breakthrough, but why now? And why did everything go back to it’s original color, when we were just getting bits and pieces before?

9. They really gave away a magic trick like that?

This one don’t got nothing to do with Wanda or Vision, I just wanna know why they gave away a magic trick like that? These kids watching gon’ be so amazed when they see it! But I’m sad they won’t grow up wondering “how did they do that”. (Listen, ignore my foolishness.)

Moving on …

10. The title sequence for episode 2 is different than episode 1, so are they all gonna be different?

Or is that it? Wait … were they hinting at the fact that this is a fake sitcom Wanda and Vision are stuck in? Is that why they had that whole sitcom animation intro during episode 2? Great, now I’m thinking again!

Ugh! I can’t wait for episode 3! Hurry up!!

11. Why the hell did everyone just watch Mr. Hart choke?

Like, his wife was just sitting there saying the same thing over and over again, and Vision just sat there stunned like a damn deer in headlights! Were they both stuck in some sort of loop? Because no one really moved until Wanda said do something!

And then they all just packed up and went home like they were all good? Almost as if they were in some sort of trance, the same way Dottie walked off calmly after her situation as well!

Anywho, that’s all I got for y’all! I can’t wait to see episode 3 now!

If you have any other questions about episode 1 or 2 of WandaVision you need answers to drop them in the comments and we’ll see what happens in episode 3 together!
