I can’t lie, I wanted to LOVE Noelle, but there was something missing! And while I loved all the cute moments, especially the “oh my garland” scene, the movie as a whole felt a little subpar.
I’m still not sure what it was missing, especially with so many awesome messages, like the one about imposter syndrome. Yet as I laughed (and even when I almost cried at the end) I kept thinking, “this isn’t as great as I thought it would be”.
Does that mean you shouldn’t watch Noelle on Disney Plus when Disney’s new subscription service launches this week?
Definitely not! As the title mentions, it’s inspirational! Especially for women who are afraid to shoot their shot!

And Noelle is definitely a comedy!
I laughed a ton! So it’s definitely something you should watch this holiday season with your loved ones, or even alone one day when it’s too darn cold to go out. Cause those reindeers are hilarious!
Just because it didn’t live up to my Christmas movies expectations (since Netflix’s The Princess Switch is like the best thing ever to me right now, lol) doesn’t mean it’s the worst movie that’ll be released this holiday season. Cause it’s not!
(I’m pretty sure Playing With Fire will take that title. Lol But shhhh, more about that later.)
I just wanted a LITTLE bit more!
But maybe that’s just me … Here’s the notes I took as I watched the movie so you can see what went through my head as I watched it.
About Noelle
In Disney+’s holiday comedy “Noelle,” Kris Kringle’s daughter is full of Christmas spirit and holiday fun, but wishes she could do something “important” like her beloved brother Nick, who will take over for their father this Christmas. When Nick is about to crumble like a gingerbread cookie from all the pressure, Noelle suggests he take a break and get away…but when he doesn’t return, Noelle must find her brother and bring him back in time to save Christmas.

[…] Noelle wasn’t that great of a movie either, (to me at least), but I think the messages IN the movie were great!
