While watching Idris Elba’s new movie Concrete Cowboy during the Toronto International Film Festival, I couldn’t help but notice these quotes.
These are my absolute favorite quotes from the film. So I hope you enjoy these quotes as much as I do. (P.s – If you’re looking for a full review of the film, it’ll be posted in the next few days. For now, here are 39 thoughts I had while watching the film.)
“Home ain’t a place dummy. It’s fam. You got fam here.”
“Listen to me! The past is not the present.”
“Hard things come before good things.”
“So you gon’ take him out?”
“Hell no!”
“Why not?”
“That motherf*cker crazy!”
“Drink that or go write some parking tickets or something.”
“I ain’t see nothing but ponytail and ass. I thought she was a horse.”
“Everyone that was supposed to take care of me left me on them corners.”
“You don’t have to get out to grow up.”
“Talking ’bout you a f*cking Cowboy, you a f*cking coward.”
“Only home I’ve ever known was the back of a horse.”
“So what we gon’ do then”
“Shit we gon’ do what we always do, we gon’ ride”
