Corona Says: If You’re Not Using Fandango To Purchase Your Movie Tickets Here’s Why You Should This Year

social distancing in movie theaters

I’ve always used Fandango to purchase my tickets before heading to the movies because I’m impatient as hell and I HATE standing on lines. Lol But now that Corona has pretty much taken over the year because she’s a selfish ass brat who didn’t get invited to the party last year *rolls eyes* and social distancing will now be required in movie theaters … Fandango is going to REALLY come in handy!

Here’s How Fandango Is Helping Guests Practice Social Distancing In Movie Theaters

To help with the reopening of movie theaters, Fandango launched a multi-dimensional program today to help moviegoers get their confidence back so they can start visiting theaters again.

Now I’m not sure if this is going to really work, but I’ll test it out soon. *gulp*

However, starting today, and Fandango mobile apps will begin rolling out new resources like social distance seating maps, a one-stop guide to safety policies provided by more than one hundred theater chains, a special search filter to find reopened theaters by location, instructional videos and more.

I literally just checked my app and it’s already there! BOOM!

Welcome Back Fandango App Social Distancing

In Fandango’s one-stop guide to health and safety policies provided by theaters across the country, moviegoers can expect to find information that theaters have provided about auditorium occupancy and social distance seating, mask, and protective equipment policies, enhanced cleaning measures, special concession services, and more.

And when theaters begin to reopen, Fandango plans to mobilize many of its other digital properties, including Rotten Tomatoes, Movieclips on YouTube, to help moviegoers get the resources and information they need.

Oh and if you’re a member of Fandango’s free-to-join VIP+ loyalty program … *ahem* like me! Lol

Fandango is extending expired rewards for an additional 60 days so that Fandango customers will have more time to use the rewards they’ve earned.

Fandango is also offering the ability to refund and exchange ticket purchases up to the posted showtime since things are so uncertain right now.

Oh, and Fandango customers can now process their refunds themselves as a guest user, with no account required.

As you can see, Fandango is trying to make sure NO ONE has to talk to ANYONE! Lol Which, for my introverted self, is GREAT! I don’t wanna talk to anyone EVER unless I’m in the mood too.

But since Corona is also out there, I definitely don’t want anyone close to me.

So if you’re not already using Fandango, now would be the time to download this thang and put it to good use. (And when I say now I don’t mean run to theaters RIGHT now. Lol) But I mean the new live-action Mulan movie IS releasing in theaters soon sooooo … you may wanna get on that soon. Lol

Are you excited to watch movies in the theaters again or nah?
