Dick Clark Productions and ABC announced today that award-winning actress Lucy Hale, who previously served as host of the New Orleans festivities, will join Ryan Seacrest in Times Square as the new co-host in New York for “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2020.”
And I don’t get why! Why her? Aside from the fact that I guess the younger audience LOVES her since she starred on Pretty Little Liars?
She’s also a seven-time winner of the Teen Choice Award for Choice TV Actress, was nominated for People’s Choice Award for Favorite Cable TV Actress in 2017 and presented with the 2013 Gracie Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Rising Star. So I guess there’s also that! Lol
Lucy Hale will also replace Jenny McCarthy, who has been the cohost since 2010.
And with that said … never f*cking mind!
I shouldn’t have opened my mouth about Lucy, cause honestly I was tired of Jenny! Lol So … heyyyyyy Lucy! Welcome to New York! Lol
I also hear Billy Porter is joining us this year as well!? More about that here.
