Is Issa Rae Dropping A Music Album?
I meannnnnnn … it’s possible! Lol Issa Rae could honestly drop a music album on any given day. However, The Photograph star didn’t actually confirm that she WOULD be dropping an album this year.
Although, she did answer the question in a polite, humorous manner.

And even though Issa Rae didn’t confirm a new music album, she did launch a new music label with Atlantic Records last year.
“On Thursday (Oct. 17), Issa revealed that she has launched a record label called Raedio. Along with the announcement of the label, Issa introduced her first artist, TeaMarrr.
According to Variety, Raedio is a partnership with Atlantic Records. The label will also supervise the music on HBO’s “A Black Lady Sketch Show,” which Rae produces as well.
Music has always been an essential part of every project I do and working with emerging talent is a personal passion,” Issa said in a statement. “Raedio allows me to continue that work within the music industry and audio entertainment space.
The Atlantic team are innovators in terms of shifting and shaping culture. I’m excited to join forces with them to discover new artists.”
