Warner Bros Studios dropped the In The Heights trailer yesterday and as someone who’s never seen the play (and knows nothing about this movie) I didn’t feel the hype. Of course someone asked me today if I had wrote about it yet, so I had no choice but to check it out and man oh man am I sorry I didn’t watch this sooner! This movie looks like it’s going to be incredible!
The music person in me is SO excited about this In The Heights trailer right now.
And the movie looks like it’s gonna be as grand as Disney’s Aladdin live action movie, without all the extra fluff. Lol I’m so excited! Originally I was like eh, pass … but after watching the In The Heights’ trailer, I’m now convinced that this movie is probably going to be one of my faves next year.
And the way the trailer itself is a little musical, it’s over! Lol This already FEELS like a NYC summer! Folks are gonna walk out of the theaters looking like they auditioning for So You Think You Can Dance. LOL
I won’t be surprised if my kid stands up to dance during the movie! Oh and she’s probably gonna ask me to visit the Heights once she finds out that this is actually in NYC. So let me prepare for that now. Lol Maybe we’ll go to a theater in the Heights and eat at a restaurant in the neighborhood afterwards? I’ll have to make a list of places to check out this Summer if you guys wanna do the same.
