A few days ago, my daughter and I were invited to attend a Frozen 2 painting class at Painting With A Twist here in NYC, and we had a BLAST! I still can’t believe how much fun it was! And then right after we left, I immediately thought “this would make a great Frozen 2 birthday party”.
Normally I think 2 hour birthday parties are a waste of money, because who the hell wants to pay over a grand to hang out for two hours? (Not I says the cat. Lol) However, we really had a wonderful time at Painting With A Twist, and it didn’t even FEEL like it was “only two hours”. It felt like we had been out all day having fun!
And since I KNOW somebody’s baby finna ask them for a god damn Frozen 2 birthday party cause these kids can not let this shit GO … I figured I’d help y’all out some! Lol (No, but like seriously! How did Disney time this new movie SO perfectly that the MOMENT these kids FINALLY stop singing these damn songs, there’s a new movie out? Ugh! Lol)
So before they start asking, and before you start losing your mind! Here’s …
Everything You Need To Throw The Best Frozen 2 Birthday Party Ever
Since my daughter and I had such a wonderful time at our painting class, this party idea is a replica of our wonderful time spent at Painting With A Twist. You’ll need painting supplies, snacks, and games.
During our painting class we played a DIY version of the game Heads Up, which of course was Disney themed, and would be perfect for this party!
All you have to do is grab some white paper plates, or even just plain printer paper (whatever’s cheaper) and write one Disney movie on each sheet/plate. Then the kids take turns guessing the movies, and you know the rest! (If not, here’s a video of my daughter playing during our painting class.)

You’ll also need …
Table Cloths (For table and floor)
Plates & Cups For Snacks
A Signature Themed Drink
I love this punch recipe from The Afropolitan Mom! (Although, I’d skip the whip!)
And this snack idea from Hungry Happenings is also amazing! (If your guests aren’t allergic!)
Take Home Gifts
However, THIS was the best thing I’ve ever found on Pinterest! Lol What kid doesn’t wanna build a snowman? Shout out to I Watch Them Grow for this awesome idea!
This makes the cutest take home gift ever! And then boom, no need for gift bags filled with candy and useless items, because kids can also take home those Frozen plastic cups they used above.
And if you’re super duper nice (like me) they’ll also take home their aprons, easel and paint brushes. Lol Cause nobody wants all that stuff left over, sitting around at home, or ending up in the trash. PLUS, the kids will definitely enjoy taking them home and using them again.
More Info About Painting Classes At Painting With A Twist
Painting with a Twist painting sessions are fun art, not fine art. Invite your friends, sip your favorite beverage (yes that sometimes means wine) and enjoy step-by-step instruction with their experienced and enthusiastic local artists.
It’s a colorful, casual party atmosphere where you’ll leave your cares behind and go home with a one-of-a-kind painting created by you. And I highly recommend their classes! (We had another painting class, not too long ago, Toy Story 4 themed, and the atmosphere at Painting With A Twist was just so much better!)
