Thanks to Disney Plus, I got to watch the Godmothered movie a few days early, and I am super excited to share my initial thoughts.

Godmothered is a comedy set at Christmas time, about Eleanor, a young, inexperienced fairy godmother-in-training (Jillian Bell) who upon hearing that her chosen profession is facing extinction, decides to show the world that people still need fairy godmothers.
Finding a mislaid letter from a 10-year-old girl in distress, Eleanor tracks her down and discovers that the girl, Mackenzie, is now a 40-year-old single mom (Isla Fisher) working at a news station in Boston.
Having lost her husband several years earlier, Mackenzie has all but given up on the idea of “Happily Ever After,” but Eleanor is bound and determined to give Mackenzie a happiness makeover, whether she likes it or not.
The film also stars Santiago Cabrera, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Jane Curtin, June Squibb, Jillian Shea Spaeder, Willa Skye, Artemis Pebdani, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Stephnie Weir.
Here Are 23 Thoughts I Had While Watching Disney Plus’s New Holiday Movie ‘Godmothered’
1. Awww look at all these old ladies! Great now I miss watching Grace and Frankie.
2. These godmother’s so annoyed! And this Black lady’s face look just like mine when I’m annoyed.
3. Look it’s the lady from Sesame Street!
4. Princess and a pea with these beds, much?
5. Seriously? All that magic and she couldn’t just fly to the thing? She gotta skip on rocks? Rubbish!
6. Worst fairy godmother I’ve ever seen! *laughs*
7. Riah is really enjoying this! Me? Eh …
8. Wow Riah said I’m the mom! I feel offended and sad.
9. This is definitely for kids! Riah loves it.
10. Awwww it’s cute when they all sing together. And the homeless guy singing with them was so cute.
11. The sled scene is probably the funniest part of this movie.
12. This touches on parents who never uplift their kids, and never tell them they’re great. Gosh, my childhood.
13. Awwww I loved seeing the dancer who wasn’t a size 2!
14. Ok the ending is really emotional and really good.
15. My kid was happy to see someone singing with glasses on.
16. Awwwwww she said her kids are her true loves, this is such a sweet story for single moms!
17. Yesss, there’s a LGBTQA family with a kid, and a grandson and a grandmother!
18. This movie shows that love isn’t just a prince and a princess.
19. Um, why they needed to throw that animation at the end? Corona?
20. Wish this was good the whole way through, I was bored at the beginning.
21. Music is good thankfully, it is just all popular songs we already know though.
22. The ending credits are pretty.
23. I can’t believe wee never found out where that damn pig came from.
So yeah, that’s pretty much what went through my head while watching this.
