I mean, I was already excited for an adult animation series about parenting, but now that I know Danielle Brooks and Kimiko Glenn are in HBO Max’s new Close Enough series, I’m even more excited. I absolutely love them both, so I can’t wait to see the show.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard Danielle’s voice as a voice-over, so we’ll see how this goes. But either way, she’s amazing, and so is Kimiko!
The show also stars Jason Mantzoukas from The Good Place, so I’m super excited about him as well. Here are all the animated characters from the Close Enough series, and their human counterparts.

The Close Enough series was created by JG Quintel, who also created the Emmy Award-winning Regular Show. Close Enough is a surreal animated comedy series about a married couple, their five-year-old daughter, and their two divorced best friends/roommates all living together on the east side of Los Angeles.
So this should be good!
