From Secrets And Scandals, To Black Excellence, “Paradise” On Hulu Is A Must-Watch

Listen, when I saw the trailer for Hulu’s new series, Paradise, starring Sterling K. Brown’s naked body ody ody, I knew it was gonna be my kind of escape! (I wasn’t even planning on writing a review for this darn Paradise series because I mean … do I need to say more? But here I am anyway!)

And even though I’m definitely more of a laugh-out-loud at a rom-com or stand-up kind of gal, this “presidential thriller” is a hit! It may not make you forget EVERYTHING that’s going on right now, considering a specific Orange Cheeto is back in the office, but it’s absolutely worth the watch baby!

I can’t say too much about what happens even though I’ve already seen episodes 1-7 because this is a spoiler-free review, but I CAN say I was hooked from the very first episode!! I mean, they ain’t waste NO time, setting this story up and creating suspense chile! And let me tell you, the twists, the character development, the Black excellence woven in!! Incredible!! Those alone are enough to keep you glued to the screen.

But the way Paradise sheds light on the dynamics of a well-run Black household despite all the political chaos, drama, and suspense, with the right touch of humor woven in–is honestly my favorite thing about this series.
