Thanks to Netflix, I got to watch the Jingle Jangle movie a few weeks early, and I am super excited to share my initial thoughts.

Jingle Jangle is a musical adventure set in the gloriously vibrant town of Cobbleton. The film follows legendary toymaker Jeronicus Jangle (played by. Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker) whose fanciful inventions burst with whimsy and wonder.
But when his trusted apprentice (Emmy winner Keegan-Michael Key) steals his most prized creation, it’s up to his equally bright and inventive granddaughter (Madalen Mills) and a long-forgotten invention to heal old wounds and reawaken the magic within.
Here Are 34 Thoughts I Had While Watching Netflix’s New Christmas Movie ‘Jingle Jangle’
1. The story book feels like it could fit into the Harry Potter world.
2. The first number is great!
3. This needs to be seen in theaters! Period.
4. They included bits and pieces from Spanish and African cultures and that warms my soul.
5. Them names are so Black!
6. This deals with stealing in our culture, and how we steal from our own.
7. The toy animations, with the wooden like figures, is so freaking cool!
8. It really picks up when Edison and older Jeronicus comes in.
9. She’s trying so hard to flirt with him. Lawd!
10. He dead asked her if she’s drunk? I can’t with this man! *laughs*
11. Noooo! Where the hell her back up singers came from?? *laughs* This is goooo good! I love this! I just bust out laughing.
12. Them suits are spiffy tho!
13. I hate when he says “I would lose everything”! I laugh every time and it’s not supposed to be funny.
14. Why folks always taking from us when it’s Christmas time? Damn yo!
15. The outfits are great! I wonder how long it took them to make Journey’s blue jacket?
16. Nooo he did NOT just say “allegedly” after she said “dear father”. I hate him! *dies of laughter*
17. Omgggg he making her sign a NDA?
18. Why they put Keegan-Michael Key in this?
19. One I love this song and I love the green the costumes.
20. I ain’t know Keegan-Michael Key could sing.
21. My sister said she likes that the band is all women and I agree.
22. Her asking him if he wants to be her apprentice instead of agreeing to be his? Yesssss!
23. This toy looks so much like Wall-e even though I didn’t even watch that movie.
24. Forest ’bout to make me cry, stop it!
25. He’s too silly to be a damn villain. I wanna hate him but I keep on laughing.
26. Jeez! Whose mail she throwing so?

29. Wah dance for grandpa! *laughs* Yes I know my accent keeps coming out.
30. That was the cutest snowball fight ever! And the music was really fun, we started dancing too.
