So, Disney has finally released a new trailer … And since I’ve been dying to know what Will Smith would look like as the Genie in this year’s Aladdin movie, of course I’ve already watched the trailer a few times. Lol But if you haven’t seen it yet, here’s what Will Smith will look like as the Genie!
It’s going to take me awhile to get used to this new Genie, but now that I’m looking at this photo, he honestly doesn’t look bad! I’m gonna watch the video clip again, just to embed the new look into my brain, so it’s fully adapted when Aladdin releases on May 24th, but yeah. Lol What do you think? Not bad right?
BUT … if you’re worried about Will Smith being blue, I found a sneak peak of what he looks like when he’s NOT blue so rest assured, he’s not blue the entire movie. Lol
Now THIS doesn’t take much getting used to, and I actually really like this look! The longer I stare at this photo, the more this feels right. Lol However, can we talk about the video clip for a second? OMG! First of all, her dress is beautiful!
Secondly – if this monkey doesn’t talk, I’m gonna be highly upset because the monkey was my best friend in the original and I NEED HIM BACK! Lol Ugh! It doesn’t look like he’s going to be an actual character this time around though, which sucks! But hopefully Disney will prove me wrong.
Last but not least – I need another clip of Jafar, because he seems way too nice in this video, is it just me? Lol I know we only see him for like 10 seconds and he probably says only one freaking sentence, but STILL! I need to feel the fear I felt when I was a kid watching this movie okay? I need his voice to evoke FEAR! Lol Other than that, I can’t freaking wait for the next video clip! This was so awesome!
