So shout out to the Ringling Bros Circus for the well-needed reminder! Because I have to admit, even though I’ve been visiting Dough’s donut shop here in Brooklyn for the last few years … I may have forgotten just how good these donuts were! Dare I say these may be the best donuts in Brooklyn!?
Of course, I haven’t tasted ALL of the donuts in Brooklyn yet, but I don’t think there’s a better donut shop than Dough! However, I’d be happy to have someone send me free donuts to try and change my mind.

All jokes aside … I got invited to a Ringling Bros. Circus x Dough pop-up a few days ago, where they were giving away FREE donuts to celebrate the upcoming Ringling shows happening around the tristate area! And of course, I couldn’t say no to free donuts!
Especially not free donuts from my favorite donut shop in Brooklyn!
Even if it meant committing to a 90 min commute from home on my remote day.
Yup, I left the house JUST for donuts! That’s how good these are.
The donuts from “Dough” are so fluffy!!
And they never disappoint. Ever!
If you’re looking to grab something sweet, just one of these bad boys is good enough. But it’s hard not to buy a couple, to stash in the house, for later in the week.
Because trust me, you’ll be craving these again days later!

“Dough” has a ton of cool flavors …
Like Dulce De Leche and Mango Coconut (which happens to be my fave), but you can’t go wrong with a cinnamon sugar or plain glazed. I believe for their Ringling Bros “Ringling Remix” donut collab, they were just glazed with sprinkles. (Which is probably also my first time having a “plain” donut at Dough.)
Yet, they were still incredibly delicious. So no complaints here!
And now I’m super excited to see the circus again this year!
We went a few years ago and had such a good time! Even without all the animals!! (You did know, the circus no longer has animals, right?) It was definitely an adjustment on my end, since I grew up loving the circus because I got to see the animals. But I get it!
If this is better for the animals, then FINE! I’ll go see them at the zoo. *stares in irony*
