Are Disney Halloween Beignets Really Worth the Hype?

Listen, babes … I’m not a die-hard Disney fan, and they don’t pay me a dime to lie … so I can easily say that Disney doesn’t always get everything right! I mean, have you visited the Tiana Restaurant at Disneyland? It’s trash! But baby … these Halloween beignets at Walt Disney World do NOT disappoint!

Every fall, the parks and resorts roll out limited-time goodies that make Disney foodies and fans plan trips just to taste them. But with so many treats competing for your attention (and your wallet), of course, you need to know: Are the Disney Halloween Beignets actually worth buying?

Well, babes … after trying them myself, I can confidently say yes, YES THEY ARE, and here’s why.

Wait … What are Disney Halloween beignets?

Out of ALL the snacks Walt Disney World has to offer, the beignets at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort, where they pay homage to New Orleans, might be my favorite!

But during spooky season, aka Halloween, Scat Cat’s Club Café puts a seasonal spin on its freshly fried, Mickey-shaped pastries by rolling their fluffy beignets in a cookies and cream sugar coating.

Think powdered sugar mixed with crushed Oreo cookie dust, then drizzled in marshmallow creme, giving every bite a sweet, chocolatey twist that tastes so good it feels downright wicked.

What do Disney Halloween Beignets taste like?

Okay, so I’ve had the regular beignets at Scat Cat’s Club Cafe, and trust me … they’re good! But these Ghoulish Beignets, baby! These are on another level!

• Texture: These beignets are light, fluffy, and pillowy on the inside! They’re seriously the softest beignets I’ve ever had! And I’ve had beignets in New Orleans, baby!
• Flavor: The crushed chocolate cookie dust balances perfectly with the sweetness of the powdered sugar and marshmallow creme drizzled on top! So it’s super SWEET, just how I like my beignets!
• Filling: For those of you who loathe filled donuts and treats … hakuna matata! That means no worries! Because that’s right, these babies are NOT filled! I repeat, there is NO cream on the inside.
• Portion: These beignets are HUGE, so they’re shareable, but let’s be honest … you’re not sharing these. It’s every man, child, friend, for themselves, baby! Get everyone their own! Trust me!

So are Disney’s Ghoulish Beignets worth buying?

Abso-fcking-lutely baby!

Why they’re worth it:

• They taste incredible!
• It’s a unique flavor you can’t get anywhere else.
• You don’t need a park ticket to buy these! You can just uber/drive to the resort!
• They’re only available during spooky season (so this Disney snack is seasonal and special).
• You can grab 3 big, fluffy beignets for less than $10! Which makes this Disney snack affordable.

What to keep in mind:

• They’re ONLY available at one location: Scat Cat’s Club Café.
• If you miss the purchase window, you’ll have to wait a whole year for them to be in season again.
• These are definitely on the dark sweeter side, so if you don’t LOVE sweet treats, or aren’t eating sugar … you’ll have to buy ’em and give ’em to a friend.

But if you’re visiting Disney World during Halloween season, these beignets are absolutely worth buying. I’d kill do a little something strange, for a little change, to buy one of these RIGHT NOW.

You can only buy the Disney Halloween beignets at a Disney resort! One specific resort, to be exact! This snack is not sold in the parks! Although I wish they were!

• Availability: Spooky season only (roughly September through October).

• How much do these Halloween Beignets at Disney World cost? Last I checked, the Halloween Beignets were about $7.79 for an order of 3, and $11.29 for an order of 6. But prices can change.
• Do you recommend we buy 3 or 6 beignets? If you can spare the extra cash, baby, get the order of 6! When we went, I only got 3, and I instantly had regrets when I got back to our hotel! So if you’re not staying on site at Port Orleans French Quarter, you’ll need a few beignets to take home!
• When can I buy these Ghoulish Beignets at Disney World? They’re usually available during spooky season (September through October), but availability can vary year by year.
• Do you need a park ticket to buy this Disney snack? Nope! You can visit the resort and purchase them without buying a ticket and going into the parks.

So yeah … these Ghoulish Beignets aren’t just another seasonal snack — they’re one of the best Disney treats I’ve ever had and they’re a MUST have if you visit for Halloween.
