Sooo … I saw the press release for Nickelodeon’s new SpongeBob SquarePants Live Action/Animated special pop up in my email a few days ago while I was at work and I almost had a fit! Lol
Nickelodeon! How many damn emails you gonna send me with exciting news, huh? Lol
Y’all know I work right? Ain’t nobody got TIME to tell everyone ALL ah this! Lol
(Let me not even get started on the fact that they’re bringing All That back! Yup! Exactly! Lol I’ll post more about that later cause I know you 90s kids are excited now. Lol)
I’m not even that big of a SpongeBob SquarePants fan and I’m excited about this! Lol
So I figured I’d tell you guys what’s up, because I KNOW some of y’all still LOVE SpongeBob! *rolls eyes* I’m more of a Squidward fan. #SorryNotSorry

Nickelodeon revealed a first look of the upcoming SpongeBob SquarePants special called, “SpongeBob’s Big Birthday Blowout,” featuring for the first time the celebrated voice cast behind SpongeBob, Patrick, Mr. Krabs, Sandy, Squidward and Plankton, who play human versions of their animated characters and guest star David Hasselhoff (Baywatch).

In this special, Patrick and SpongeBob journey to the surface world, where the duo come across a few familiar faces during lunchtime rush at The Trusty Slab restaurant.
Meanwhile the Bikini Bottom residents set up a surprise birthday party for SpongeBob.
Donning his famous lifeguard attire, Hasselhoff guests as himself in the special, where he runs into a little trouble in an ocean kayak and on the beach.
Additional guest stars in the special include Kel Mitchell (All That), Jack Griffo (The Thundermans) and Daniella Perkins (Knight Squad).

The SpongeBob SquarePants Live Action/Animated special is one hour long and it’s also a mix between animation and live action, which is cool.

My Thoughts About The New SpongeBob SquarePants Live Action Special
So are you excited about this? Because I know I am!
I kinda wanna see how the actual voice cast does when acting as the characters! It also sounds like it’s gonna be a very interesting special! And I love David Hasselhoff, so this should be good!
I’m assuming that because they end up on land, that’s why they turned human? Lol
Or maybe something happens and they turn human? Iono! Lol I’m guessing here!
